We’re looking for Senior Ship Broker⚓️

Responsibilities:

✅Have extensive chartering knowledge to include freight rate
negotiation and a deep understanding of charter party terms.
✅Have good organisational and communication skills with the ability to
challenge and show humility.
✅Have work experience with a well-respected shipping company.
✅Ability to be proactive to save time/money.
✅Flexibility to work evenings due to the nature of the business.

In addition to these, keep track of the following work done by the team:

✅Pre and post Fixture,
✅Agency nomination,
✅Following pre-arrivals, proforma d/a and final d/a.
✅Making lay-time calculations correctly, negotiating with 3rd parties.
✅Tracing payment of the freight, preparing freight invoices.
✅Monitoring vessels daily positions and reporting all related parties accordingly.

Requirements:
Conversant with Microsoft Office.
Carries in Owners desk of charterers desk.
Proficient in English as verbally and written.
Strong communication analytical and problem-solving skills.
